Boyd's Bits
Dear Church Family,
It's amazing how fast time flies. It's already June, 2017. Where did the time/month go? So much has happened in May. From Gotcha Soccer to Mother's Day to Memorial Day; we've been extremely busy. And June looks like it's going to be the same; Graduation to Father's Day to vacations.
Which leads me to a few things to remember and participate:
1. Small group survey's- If you haven't already filled out a small group survey, please take the time to do so. There are copies in the entry way in front of the church and in the back hallway. You may also go online and fill out/submit a survey form. Please remember that you are to select 3 of your most important topics. There is an area at the end of the survey for you to include a topic/area of study you may recommend if it is not listed. Remember: "Study to show yourselves approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth!" (2 Timothy 2:15)
2. Father's Day Choir- All men/boys (school age) are encouraged to help fill the choir loft that Sunday (June 18th). We will have a few rehearsals to prepare for this special day. They are:
a. Wednesday, June 7th from 8:00 – 8:15 pm in the choir loft
b. Wednesday, June 14th from 8:00 – 8:45 pm in the FLC
c. Sunday, June 18th from 9:30 – 9:45 am in the FLC
3. Children's choir will also be singing the morning of June 18th.
"We want to say thank you to the Church for our generous staff appreciation gift. Lisa, Brandon & I are so grateful to be a part of Pilot Baptist Family. God bless you this month. Please be praying for His leadership as we grow & go! May we truly be the "…heart of God in the heart of the community and beyond!"
Blessings, Boyd
